Bill of Action for the World Push Up Champs 2009
Venue for all tournament events is the Establishment, Courtenay Place, Wellington, NZ.
Objective - our men and women will square off against each other to see who can pump out the greatest amount of push ups in 60 seconds. The winning man and woman will be crowned World Champ 09 and will take home the much coveted Golden muscle top

28th March 09 from 12pm to 6pm - THE main event - the World Push Up Championships
- Doors open at 10am
- First pushups commence at 1.30pm SHARP.
- Nibbles served at 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
- One minute World Open heats for men's kicks off at 1.30pm and the women's 45 secs version at 4pm.
- Men's prelims will be complete by 3.20pm and finals for top three qualifiers will take place at 5.15pm.
- Women's event will have only one round and will go down as below.
- Prize draws will occur following men's finals.
- Winners will be crowned and closing ceremony will occur at 6pm.
- Music, mirth and frivolity will be on tap throughout the day.

1.30pm - Mens Prelims - Session A: 1. Aussie Dazza, 2. Coco Cotter, 3. Seth 'USA' Campbell
2.00pm - Break
2.30pm - Mens Prelims - Session B: 4. Mattie 'Six Pack' Ryan, 5. The Great Dane , 6. Callum 'Tick Tock' Thomas, 7. Daithi 'Dizzle' O'Connor (defending champ)
3.20pm - Break in which top three men's qualifiers (for finals are announced)
4.00pm - Women's Final: 8. Orla 'The Mailwoman' Carmody, 9. Veyonce, 10. Michelle, 11. Catherine 'The Maniac' Cotter
4.45pm - break and final betting for mens final
5.15pm - Men's final: top three men in reverse order with 3rd place qualifier commencing proceedings. Expected to finish at 5.45pm
6.00pm - Winners announced, they receive prizes, betting winners announced and closing ceremony.
6.00pm onwards - party-on like we are all winners!!!
*The Push Up Champs are a well oiled machine - each contestant will have exactly 8 minutes to execute their entry, their push ups and their exit. What they do with these 8 minutes of fame is up to them.
